The Vertiv Geist Upgradeable Switched Rack PDU VP53101 is a 30A, 120V, 1U horizontal rack power distribution unit (PDU) with input power monitoring and outlet level switching. The VP53101 has 12 NEMA 5-20R outlets and a NEMA L5-30P plug with a 10ft cord providing 2.8kW in power capacity. With its horizontal form factor, this 1U rack PDU is designed for easy access in the rack, making it ideal for short cabinets and small network closets. This Switched rPDU allows you to turn off receptacles to avoid accidental overloads and power cycle equipment remotely to reboot unresponsive critical IT equipment. The hot-swappable Interchangeable Monitoring Device (IMD) displays current on the local LED display. Visible Light Communication (VLC) technology allows you to view complete power usage data locally from a mobile device with the Vertiv rPDU Scanner app. Each unit undergoes individual testing for functionality to ensure your network is powered by a reliable smart power strip.
