Tripp Lite's SMART3000VS is an intelligent, line interactive UPS with expandable runtime. It is designed to protect server, networking and telecommunication equipment from blackouts, voltage fluctuations and transient surges. The small footprint tower UPS design occupies only 106 square inches of floorspace with a height of only 14.25 inches. The SmartPro is rated at 3000VA and 2250W, and offers 4 minutes battery battery backup at full load (14 minutes at half load). You can extend the battery runtime of this system using optional BP48V18 external battery packs. Line interactive voltage regulation corrects brownouts as low as 79V and overvoltages as high as 147V. This provides fully regulated 120V nominal output for smooth continuous operation of equipment.

You get a total of ten outlets, three of which can be controlled individually with a software interface. With individually controlled outlets you can reboot remote equipment or shed less critical loads to extend battery runtime for more critical loads. For communication and control, the UPS includes an expansion slot for an internal SNMP card, and it includes two DB-9 serial ports and two USB monitoring ports for unattended shutdown, remote control and monitoring of your UPS system and power data. It features an attractive gray color scheme, and it is compatible with Tripp Lite's PowerAlert and Watchdog service software.
