Engineered to deliver speed, productivity, versatility and mobility, the MK5000 Cable and Wire Marker Printer is ideal for precise character printing onto a wide range of media including tubes (such as heat shrink and flat tubes), label tapes, and plastic plates. It is designed to be used on-site at locations such as construction sites, electrical facilities, factory assembly lines, data centers, server rooms, in industries such as construction, manufacturing, and information and communications technology, for applications including automotive / aerospace / medical device manufacturing, quality management, and equipment maintenance / overhaul.

The MK5000 printer’s user-friendly design includes a built-in laptop-style QWERTY-layout rubber keyboard designed to help ensure both comfort and efficiency, and its sturdy built-in handle and light weight help make it easy to take the printer to job sites. The MK5000 printer setup menus are also displayed on a high-contrast backlit LCD display, ideal for working in dimly lit environments. The printer also has fine pitch adjustment and uses thermal transfer ribbon printing, in black or white, to help improve output accuracy.

The MK5000 printer has three selectable speeds and can print up to 55 pieces per minute1, or up to 40-mm/ sec. Designed with an increased cut speed and internal memory that can store character sets and folders to print easily in at the field, the MK5000 can helps increase productivity. With PC connectivity, the MK5000 also off ers simultaneous, distributed printing to multiple printers which can help save time when printing large quantities. The serial printing feature also allows for automatic sequential number or letter printing and the printer control panel and menus allow users to adjust settings such as automatic full and half cut, as well as depth and cutting speed control, convenient to help assist on large projects.
