This USB Type-C to HDMI adapter (M/M) connects an 8K-capable HDMI monitor, projector or television to the USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port on your MacBook Pro, Windows laptop, tablet or smartphone. It’s an ideal cable for Ultra HD video applications, including editing professional video or digital artwork, upgrading your trade show or conference presentations, playing online games or watching movies on a larger 8K screen.

By connecting the USB-C end to a source device that supports USB DisplayPort Alt Mode, you can output 8K video and digital audio to an HDMI monitor, television or projector without installing special software drivers.

This cable supports data transfer speeds up to 8.16 Gbps per-lane (32.4 Gbps total) bandwidth for high-end A/V applications. It can transmit UHD specifications up to 7680 x 4320 (8K) at 60 Hz and 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 144 Hz with 36-bit Deep Color. High Dynamic Range (HDR) provides a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks that pop on your 8K display. HDCP 2.3 encryption allows you to stream 4K or 8K content with no complications. This adapter also supports uncompressed 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor. Note: Both the source and display must support the desired resolution to function appropriately.

The plug-and-play USB Type-C to HDMI adapter requires no software or external power. Just connect the USB-C plug to the USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port on a source device that supports USB DisplayPort Alt Mode, and connect the HDMI port to your 8K display. This adapter is backward compatible with 1080p and 4K displays, allowing you to use it with older equipment.
