Installed in a high density Perle media converter chassis, 10/100 Ethernet extender allows you to extend up to 18 Ethernet connections beyond the general IEEE 802.3 limits of 328 feet/100 m using any existing copper wiring previously used in alarm circuits, E1/T1 circuits, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, CCTV and CATV applications. To further protect IDs and passwords from someone 'snooping' on the network, Perle managed Ethernet extender provides secure management sessions by supporting SSH, SNMPv3, Telnet and HTTPS.
