The S4100-ON series offers flexibility by providing configuration profiles, as well as non-blocking performance for application loads sensitive to packet loss. The compact S4100-ON models provide multi-rate speed, optimizing footprint and simplifying migration to 100 Gbit/s rates. The S4100-ON series is also unique in its ability to meet the requirements of converged and virtualized data centers, thanks to hardware support for VXLAN L2 and L3 gateway functionality. Priority-based flow control (PFC), Data Center Bridging eXchange (DCBx) and Enhanced Transmission Selection (ETS) make the S4100-ON ideal for DCB environments.
