With fast print speeds, broad media support, and dual power supply support, the MK3000 offers increased flexibility for easy use at work site locations. It is ideal for precise character printing onto a wide range of media including tubes (such as heat shrink and flat tubes), and label tapes. It is designed to be used on-site at locations such as construction sites, factory assembly lines, electrical facilities, data centers, server rooms, and power plants, in industries such as construction, manufacturing, and information and communications technology, for applications including automotive / aerospace / medical device manufacturing, quality management, network cable wiring and equipment maintenance / overhaul.

The MK3000 printer is very easy to use. It includes a built-in laptop-style QWERTY-layout rubber keyboard to help ensure both comfort and efficiency, and its sturdy carry handle and light weight help make it easy to take the printer to job sites. The MK3000 printer setup menus are also displayed on a large backlit LCD display, ideal for working in dimly lit environments.

The MK3000 printer has two selectable speeds and can print up to 35 pieces per minute, or up to 25-mm/sec. Instead of typing characters and printing on the fly, you can use the internal memory to store character sets and folders to print easily in the field, helping to increase productivity. The serial printing feature also allows for automatic sequential number or letter printing and the printer control panel and menus allow users to adjust settings such as automatic full and half cut, as well as depth and cutting speed control, convenient to help assist on large projects.
