This card connects two high speed serial peripherals (modems, digital cameras, Palm® PCs, UPSs, TAPI telephones) to one card. It incorporates two high speed 16550 UART 9-pin serial ports capable of handling data throughput rates up to 115.2 kbps. Each serial port is independently configurable as Com 1 through Com 6, and selectable for any of IRQ 2/3/4/5/7/10/11/12/15. The Lava DSerial-550 makes sure that your external modem, Palm PC, digital camera or POS devices perform to their full capacity. Compatible with all 14.4, 19.2, and 28.8 baud and faster external modems.
