Connect an existing DVI-D monitor to a newer computer or video source. Small chipset on the DVI side enables video conversion. Dongle has a DVI-I interface but is electrically a DVI-D interface. No power needed. Power comes from the USB 3.1 Type C port making it idea for use with mobile devices. Type C connector is symmetrical enabling the dongle to be plugged in up or down. Supports TMDS.
