Mice and Trackballs

The mice from Microsoft, HP, and Logitech use the USB port, which makes them compatible with more devices, even those that do not have the PS/2 interface. Each of these manufacturers offers wireless mice and trackballs that work well with both desktops and notebooks. If you worry about unsightly wire clutter, then it only makes sense to go wireless. Optical mice also work with almost any surface, so they're travel friendly.

A PC trackball offers another input option. Essentially, this inverted mouse allows your staff to control their machines via touch. Modern trackballs include multiple buttons and proprietary features, allowing your employees to click, select, and perform every action that a traditional computer mouse is capable of. Plus, the stationary trackball doesn't require you to move your arm, which reduces strain and results in increased comfort while decreasing the need for flat desk space.
